‘Topografías de la memoria’ is a materialization of spatial memory. It is a collection of familiar spaces drawn first by memory and then preserved with embossed layers inside the canvas, leaving just a subtle geometrical relief in the textile.

Memory is never exact. It is a layered perception of space that mutates throughout the years, altered by our brain every time we revisit it. The blueprints present on the canvas are then just a remembrance of the real place, reinterpreted through memory.
